KRAS.NL ran this A/B test with Online Dialogue (See Agency Profile) using testing tech that was developed in-house.
We suspect this footer aided new visitors who weren’t sure of all the site offered, but distracted returning visitors who might have a clearer goal/path in mind. KRAS now has the option of suppressing the footer for returning customers.
The judges loved this test because it showed that footers are worth testing and that you should segment results, if possible, between new vs. returning customers.
